Characteristics
The „Salmon Chiffon” peony, also known as Paeonia ‘Salmon Chiffon,’ is a magnificent herbaceous perennial plant with huge, semi-double to double blooms in a lovely salmon-pink color. The fragrant blossoms can grow up to 6 inches in diameter.
This peony type grows to a height of 55 dm and has rich green foliage that makes a lovely backdrop for the flowers. The plant blooms from late spring to early summer and has a huge number of blossoms on robust stems that do not need to be staked.
Origin Salmon Chiffon Peony
Because the „Salmon Chiffon” peony is a hybrid peony cultivar, its precise origin is unknown. However, it was most likely designed by a peony breeder or nursery utilizing selective breeding to generate a plant with the desired traits.
For ages, peony breeding has been a popular hobby in many parts of the world, with new cultivars generated through regulated cross-pollination and selection. Because the United States has a lengthy history of peony cultivation and breeding, it is conceivable that the “Salmon Chiffon” peony was produced there.

Flower Care
Here are some care recommendations for a peony bouquet: When you receive the peonies bouquet, carefully remove it from its packaging. Under running water, cut the flower stems diagonally at a 45-degree angle with clean and sharp scissors. This will prevent air bubbles from forming in the stems, which can obstruct water uptake. To prevent bacterial growth in the vase, remove any leaves or foliage that are below the water line. Choose a vase that is clean and large enough to hold the peonies. Fill it with clean, fresh water. If the bouquet includes flower food, mix it into the water according to the package directions. If you don't have flower food, you can add a pinch of sugar to the water to help keep the water clean and the flowers nourished. Change the water every two days and recut the stems at a 45-degree angle to assist the flowers in absorbing water.
